Who or what inspires you?

Mintha Roach is a local woman who has inspired me to be the best version of myself and to always aim high in my professional goals. On a national level, how can I not be inspired by Vice President Kamala Harris?!?

How do you think YPK contributes to our community?

YPK’s mission is to connect, develop, and serve. I think in my time involved YPK has had great leaders who have impacted our community in all 3 ways. I’ve seen friendships form, amazing speakers, and so many opportunities to give back and volunteer.

What has been your favorite (or most memorable) experience with YPK?

There are too many to name, but I had an awesome time at the Tyson-McGhee airport getting a behind the scenes tour!

What are you currently reading, watching, or listening to?

I am reading All the Ways We Said Goodbye, watching The Crown, and listening to the Ali on the run podcast!

When you're not at work, where can people find you?

At a brewery patio, on a hiking trail, or hosting friends at my house now that I have a daughter!

Who or what inspires you?

I am consistently inspired by my work teammates. My work involves assisting in the development of others and whenever I see someone achieve a goal they have set for themselves or overcome a struggle they've been going through, I get all the feels. I strongly believe in surrounding myself with people who will challenge me and keep me out of my comfort zone and I am very fortunate to have those people working along side me.

How do you think YPK contributes to our community?

YPK is a unique organization that brings together like-minded young professionals who want to make connections and better themselves and their community. YPK provides many opportunities throughout the year to serve our community from holiday toy drives to scholarship opportunities, and many other options to volunteer.

What has been your favorite (or most memorable) experience with YPK?

My favorite experience with YPK was attending the Endeavor Summit in 2019 with fellow YPK members. There was great networking and opportunities to hear from others in the community, and this event was memorable to me because of the impactful presentation by the Keynote speaker, Stephen Brown of Glitterville. His entertaining story of persistence and taking your own path was inspiring to me.

What are you currently reading, watching, or listening to?

Currently watching The Good Place and listening to all things Dave Ramsey network and the Very Presidential Podcast. I'm in need of a good book, so would love any suggestions!

When you're not at work, where can people find you?

Downtown, anywhere by the water, or at Ijams nature center.
