Congratulations to the 2017 Leadership Certificate Program Graduates

The Young Professionals of Knoxville would like to congratulate the graduates of the 2017 Leadership Certificate program. These young professionals completed an 8-week intensive course, learning how to set and achieve personal and professional goals, discussing leadership and the qualities of a good leader, and discovering their own strengths and how to apply them at work and in the community.

Kelly Carpenter

Kelly Carpenter is Office Manager at John Bailey Company. She volunteers with Humane Society of The Tennessee Valley. Fan of all things Disney, theming, and coffee.

Dustin Crouse

Dustin Crouse is a Knoxville-based attorney at Monica Franklin Elder Law Practice. In addition to being a member of the Young Professionals of Knoxville and a recent Leadership Certificate 2017 Graduate, he is also a member of the Knoxville Bar Associates Barristers and a board member of Girls Inc. of Knoxville. In his spare time, Dustin enjoys running, volunteering in the community, and spending time with his wife, Deborah.

Gabe Denny

Official: Gabe Denny is probably the most prodigious guy you will ever meet.
Unofficial: Gabe Denny is a 3D modeler with Michael Brady, Ic. and is an entrepreneur with the start-up, Get to It! He is a charter member of YPK where he served 3 years on the board. He is passionate about helping others and is proud to be a Big Brother for 6 years.

Maddie Holtzclaw

Maddie Holtzclaw is the Assistant Manager at Legends at Oak Grove Apartment Community. She serves on the Young Professionals of Knoxville board of directors and also serves as a board member with the East Towne Business Alliance.  She has a passion for marketing, animals, and music.

Samantha Hurst

Samantha Hurst is a Recruiter for Cellular Sales where she manages openings for positions ranging from entry-level sales to corporate technology. She is currently serving on the YPK Board as Co-Social Chair. In her spare time she runs half marathons, travels the world and spoils on her dogs!

Dana Kamilar

Dana Kamilar is a graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with a Masters of Management Studies degree. She joined Pilot Flying J as a member of the Executive Development Program and is currently rotating throughout departments to learn the full scope of PFJ’s business. Dana comes from Miami, Florida where she was previously a youth sailing instructor and a Sales Professional for a luxury watch and jewelry company. Before Duke, she went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn her Bachelors in Communications and loves basketball, sailboat racing, and international travel.  

Kat Milligan

Kat Milligan is an Experience Manager with Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians. She holds an M.A. from University of Missouri and an M.Div from Harvard Divinity School. Kat also is a core member with Circle Modern Dance. Kat is passionate about creating opportunities for people to grow in community, whether that be a Girl Scout troop or a dance class.

Chloe Perry

Chloe Perry is the Administrative Manager of The Alliance for Better Nonprofits.  She serves as a project adviser with Johnson University's Urban Alliance and council member of the Alliance for Young Nonprofit Professionals.  Chloe is passionate about social justice, serving others, and fitness.

Britney Sink

Britney Sink is the Executive Director of local child advocacy nonprofit CASA of East Tennessee. She serves on the Young Professionals of Knoxville board of directors and is an active member of the Junior League of Knoxville. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina and holds a Masters degree from the University of Arkansas William J. Clinton School of Public Service.

Stephanie Windsor

Stephanie Windsor is the Human Resources & Communications Specialist at Restoration Services, Inc. (RSI). She is a member of Young Professionals of Knoxville, a mentor for the tnAchieves program, and is a SHRM certified professional. She is passionate about traveling with her fiance, Disney, and education.
