You applied, got accepted, came to the General Membership Meeting and YPK 101. Congrats! You're a member of YPK! Now what? What is the best way to get involved? How do you make the most of your YPK membership?
Come to an Event!
We encourage you to attend as many events as you can in the first year of your membership - it's the best way to see firsthand what YPK does and who makes up our great group. Don't be afraid to start a conversation with a stranger, sign up for the kickball team, or volunteer not knowing anyone ahead of time. Join a Committee!
We work hard to provide quality training, volunteer experiences and networking opportunities to our members, but there are always ways to improve! Whether you have new ideas or you want to develop your skills, we want to hear from you! Consider joining one of our six committees: Membership, Social, Professional Development, Community Outreach, Marketing, and Finance. Not only will you be able to help lead YPK into a brighter future, but you'll meet others along the way! If you're interested in a committee, reach out to the chair or co-chair here!

As a YPK member, you receive a discount at Knoxville Sports & Social Club Rec League. Sign up to play kickball with YPK's team (e-mail Lindsey.) You also receive free membership to the Alliance for Better Nonprofits - take a professional development class! As a YPK Member, you and your business have the ability to post open positions on our Jobs Board; if you're looking for a job, this is a great place to start!
