The Impact Awards will look a bit different in 2020! This year, YPK will host a condensed version of the Impact Awards virtually on Thursday, November 12, 6:00-7:30pm.

We invite you to dress up in your best couch cocktail outfit (or not, you do you) for a celebration of all we’ve accomplished in this odd year; hear wise words from our Impact Award winner, Vrondelia "Ronni" Chandler; and congratulate our award recipients. We’ve got a fun and engaging evening planned, so be sure to join us for our last GMM of the year!

We will also recognize two Outstanding Young Professionals, YPK Member of the Year, and our Leadership Certificate graduates before hearing from our keynote speaker, Ronni Chandler.

We are pleased to welcome Ronni Chandler as this year’s Impact Award winner. Ronni is a Knoxville native and currently serves as Executive Director of Project GRAD Knoxville. As a long-time community and youth advocate and mentor of young professionals, Ronni is also a 2020 alum of the Complete Tennessee Leadership Institute (CTLI) statewide program, Leadership Knoxville 2004, UTK Chancellor’s Associates 2003, and CAC Community Leadership 1996. She presently serves on the Pellissippi State Foundation Board of Trustees, Covenant Health System Board of Directors, Johnson University Greater Knoxville Advisory Board, TCAT Knoxville Regional Council and is a member of the Women’s Fund of East Tennessee Strong Women, Strong Futures Network, and the Executive Women Association Knoxville.

The Impact Awards serves as our fourth and final General Membership Meeting of 2020, and members will vote on the proposed 2021 Board of Directors slate.
