On December 15 Young Professionals of Knoxville was at Knoxville National Cemetery to remember and honor our veterans.

Young Professionals of Knoxville (YPK) is pleased to announce the appointment of the 2019 Board of Directors. This 17-member volunteer board provides leadership for carrying out YPK’s mission to help young professionals Connect, Develop and Serve.

YPK is a driving force in connecting young professionals with community leaders and organizations in Knoxville. We hear “networking is key” all of the time and YPK has been amazing at developing events and programs that provide young professionals the opportunity to do just that.

YPK allows young professionals an opportunity to build their networks, improve their leadership skills, and give back to the community. YPK also introduces their members to businesses and venues around the city that they may not have been familiar with. I think that being active in the community, both socially and through servitude, helps young professionals become more invested in the place we live and work.

Young Professionals of Knoxville (YPK) exists to connect and develop leaders and to serve our community. Each fall, we recruit those who live, work, and play in Knoxville who want to plug into the community even further. 

It may sound corny, but I truly think Knoxville’s future leaders are in YPK, and I’m thankful to get to know them now.

YPK Happy Hours are a great way to meet new people and to build new relationships. Going to all of our happy hours and General Membership meetings have been great for me personally and professionally.
