The Knoxville Chamber’s Annual Endeavor Summit Returns to Old City, Empowers Young Professionals
The annual Endeavor Summit returns on September 5th, 2019 at The Mill & Mine in the Old City. Planned by a committee of young professional volunteers, the full-day experience is developed and produced by the Knoxville Chamber and empowers the region’s young professionals and emerging leaders to evolve in both their personal and professional growth all while elevating the community through collective development opportunities.
A compelling keynote speaker (sponsored by the University of Tennessee) will headline the afternoon session at Endeavor 2019: Stephen Brown of Glitterville Studios. Learn how Brown, a Roane County native, turned his passion into a global success while working with personalities such as Tori Spelling and Oprah Winfrey.
Breakout sessions and loud table discussions will take place throughout the day, with topics focusing on Diversity, Leadership, Makers, Entrepreneurs, Community Engagement, Time and Wealth Management, Life in Knoxville, Economic Development, Work/Life Balance and more. Attendees can choose from multiple loud table options, allowing them to create a custom event schedule tailored to their individual goals. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with hundreds of local peers and community leaders through facilitated networking sessions hosted by Leadership Knoxville. Complimentary professional headshots will be taken on site by Morgan Hayley Photography.
Each attendee also has the chance to participate in activities designed to inspire growth, engagement, and excitement. These include contributing to on-site, service-to-go projects; pledging volunteer hours through Volunteer East Tennessee; donating kitten and cat supplies to Young Williams Animal Center; visiting the on-site MEDIC Regional Blood Center donation van; and exploring other non-profit and sponsor exhibits.
The day wraps with a networking happy hour featuring music, craft brews, and food. The Summit features local restaurants including Wild Wing Café, Tazikis, Hard Knox Pizza, and The Wooden Spoon. Food City will be providing refreshments for the attendees at the “Endeavor Pantry” throughout the day. Coffee and tea stations will be facilitated by Vienna Coffee, the official caffeine sponsor for the summit.
